Hello,
I am trying to use OBS for streaming board meetings at a school I work for. The cameras we are using run into a mixer and from there i use a SDI converter to run it into my laptop to stream the meetings. My issue I am running into is that the streamed video is choppy. Its almost seems as if its skipping frames and there is a small audio delay. I have changed most of the settings and tried running OBS on the CPU and GPU. I am having no luck,
FYI I tried the stream on Wirecast and did not run into those issues. However, I would prefer to use OBS and wanted to know if there was something I can do to correct the issue. I felt the Wirecast test was a good way to rule out if the cameras, mixer or SDI was not working correctly. I'm capturing the SDI input with a Video capture scene.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to correct this?
