OBS runs perfectly if launched AFTER a game, but runs terribly if launched BEFORE a game.

When I have a game running and launch OBS, there are next to no problems. When I have OBS running and launch a game, the FPS plummets and the Average Time to Render Frame, the Frames Missed due to Rendering Lag and even the Skipped Frames due to Encoding Lag skyrocket.

I can just launch OBS after the game and it's fine, so this may not seem like a big issue, but it does mean that I am unable to stream more than one game per stream. I don't see the compromise of stopping the stream, launching then relaunching a game and OBS respectively as a realistic solution, just because I want to change games.

I should note that when I launch the game with OBS already running, the game still runs smoothly.
I should also note that this is not just a temporary spike while it adjusts - it stays like this until I close the game or relaunch OBS.

I've scoured these forums searching for similar problems and potential solutions but come up empty handed.
I have also tried what feels like every combination of the typical fixes for common problems but none have seemed to help.

I've run a short test stream and recorded the logs. In this I started with a game open when I launched OBS, then closed the game and relaunched the SAME game, and sure enough the issue came up again.

If anyone knows anything on how I can fix this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, so I've changed one setting and I don't know if it was the source of the problem, it seems to be working now. The setting was in RazerCortex, under Game Booster; I have disabled the "Auto-Boost" setting. I suspect it was interfering with OBS somehow.

I've done a test stream identical to the one above ("I started with a game open when I launched OBS, then closed the game and relaunched the SAME game") just this time with the "Auto-Boost" setting in RazerCortex Game Booster turned off. I'm including the logs in the hope that anyone who is more tech-wise than I am, can decipher them and confirm whether or not this fix is legitimate or whether it's just a coincidence.
