Hey, I've started recording gameplay just recently because I found out i really enjoy editing videos, i started editing some videos for my wife for school and for youtube, i like it... So i figured ill record games and edit those. I've been recording for the past few days so I'm new to OBS but I'm tech savy started programming when i was 12 the only reason i mention that is i know a little im not a complete newb but recording video and video editing for one im new too and just learning everything about it. but anyways man... Everything was going fine i have my recording settings all set up for high quality captures, 60fps 1080p i have been recording with MKV formats, but i wanted to separate my audio tracks for editing purposes such as mic audio and desktop audio. I was told to record in mp4.. Didnt want to at first because of the file size. but i did it and then my first recording i checked it out and it was sooooo laggy. So i just went back to mkv and now... its still sooooo fucking laggy... I've messed around to see if i could figure it out... but nothing works... so please help anyone?
