Hey there OBS experts, I am having an issue where my recordings are always a bit less crisp and clear than they should be. It's not a bitrate issue because it's not blur that shows up when there's too much motion, it's purely a sharpness issue that's always present and is most noticeable on things like nameplate text.
I mainly record WoW and that's where I'm noticing the issue. Here's a side-by-side of a screenshot of my WoW game screen and a screenshot of an OBS recording of that same screen playing in VLC. You'll notice that the text in the OBS recording is fuzzy and not sharp or clear like it is in the game.

Here is a log of me recording this sidebyside in case that helps:
I have a YouTube channel for my gaming content and I'd really like to step up the quality of my recordings but I can't seem to get this fuzz to go away. I've tried changing the codec and the bitrate settings and all of that stuff but as I said, that shouldn't be the problem because it's an issue that doesn't have to do with motion blur. I know the resolution scaling can be a problem and seems more likely to be the culprit but my base resolution and my output resolution are identical, so there shouldn't be any downscaling happening right? How else can this fuzziness be caused?
I am at a loss. Could it be that I just need to upgrade my hardware? I am running an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB video card and an AMD FX(tm)-8350 8 core Processor.
Any help or insight you all could provide would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
