Hey guys, because of corona we are doing our lectures online and i wanted to record them with obs, my question know can they track that im recording apps like skype, bigbluebutton etc

Check your local laws regarding recording other people without their consent.. All states are different..

That depends on the programs you're using. Zoom, for example, scrapes data about all running processes on each system connected (and is a digital privacy nightmare), so would be able to see that you're running OBS.

In simple terms though, if you aren't allowed to record the lecture, be polite and don't.
If you are allowed to record the lecture, why is it an issue if they know you are?
