Question / Help OBS recording skipping while in 60 fps

While doing a local recording (not streaming at the time) I have noticed while playing back the video it will skip at various moments. I don't see and cpu overload or any settings that could be causing the issue and yet it keeps happening.

Your system can not keep up at the settings you selected.

Since you are using multiple audio tracks please read http://obsproject.com/forum/resourc...lity-recording-and-multiple-audio-tracks.221/ for Advanced output mode settings.

yeah I felt like thats what it looked like was happening but didn't since it was showing less than 25% cpu it was fine. I'll keep experimenting

You could try following the settings in the thread I linked and avoid wasting time.

yeah I did but in testing to see if it improved on CRF 20 (superfast) CRF 25 (superfast than ultrafast) and even switch down to 30fps and still getting the skipping. Is it possible to be something else?
