OBS recording lag and cut footage

I recorded 5 hours worth of footage and when I was done, the first hour was fine but from there the video was lagging. When I re-recorded the footage, not only was it lagging, but it only recorded an hour 40min worth of footage when in reality I was recording for 2 and a half hours. I don't know where things changed because the last video I recorded which was 6 hours long, turned out fine from start to finish and I have not changed my settings since on both my laptop and OBS Studio. please advice.

My log files:

1. Using Windows Update, update Windows 10 to the newest available version. Your version is no longer supported.
2. One of your audio devices has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Speaker/Headphone (2- Realtek High Definition Audio): 48000 Hz
Microphone (2- Realtek High Definition Audio): 44100 Hz
3. Run OBS as Admin, right-click on the short-cut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
4. Use the Quick Sync Video (QSV) encoder instead of x264.

Post new log after making all those changes if still having issue.

So far so good. I made some of the changes except for windows update and I'm not sure how to change the audio options. The video was very smooth but towards the last 5 min a bit choppy. I'm currently backing up my files so I can update windows since the last time I updated, it sent my laptop into a continuous loop that eventually crashed my laptop. If after the update the video isn't good, I'll send my log again. But I honestly don't know how to change the audio sample rate
