OBS recording hangs on sub title transition (Fade).

IT takes a minute or two for the fade transition on the sub title (Lower thirds) designed using image.Gif file to cross over to the live preview. this used to be instant with no interruptions on the previous version 29.1.3. I reverted OBS to confirm if that was the issue but no difference. Reduced the fade time but no difference either. I so tried looking in the area of Mac by update the OS to the latest and still made no difference.

Any ideas on this
