OBS Recording encoding lag (RTX 3080 & Ryzen 5900X)

Hey, so for the past couple days I've been trying to record Minecraft at 1440p/360 fps and 1080p/360 fps using NVENC(new). However, all my recordings are stuttering/choppy. I've seen people record in 1080p/360 fps with lower specs. Is there any way to fix this?

SPECS:
  • EVGA RTX 3080 & Ryzen 5900X
  • 32 GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD
  • ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero (Motherboard)
(I already tried running OBS as admin, disabled Windows Gaming Mode and reinstalled OBS).

I don't think Nvenc is capable of recording at such a high framerate. What would you do with a 360fps recording?

Where's the 360Hz monitor?

Anyway, recording over 60fps isn't officially supported but there is a guide in the resource section.

Thank you, I will read that later today.

Same here happen to me dude. I was trying to change FPS to 60 or 30 in OBS to make my recording a bit faster in order to stop the lag in the video file I record. But, it just got a little lagging to me. To be honest, it might be something else that is causing some strange lag problems in my video file every time I record my video for Pokémon Legends. It could be the software settings or the computer settings that need to be updated or fixed.
