Question / Help OBS recording buttons not working

I deleted OBS because of a bug not letting me use the record button or my hotkeys maybe 3 months ago and I redownloaded it today and the issue is still in effect. Can someone please give a me an explanation or step by step process of how to get rid of this?

You're on nvidia 378.49 aren't you?

Either update to current hotfix or roll back one version.
