Question / Help OBS recording and streaming gameplay choppy and laggy

Hey, I need help figuring out why my OBS is recording my overwatch gameplay choppy and laggy. It doesn't make my actual game lag, but the video or stream as well as preview come out very badly. It's really unbearable. I've also messed around with my settings. My PC should easily be able to handle it. It worked perfectly before and suddenly won't anymore. I've also uninstalled and updated it and it won't fix it. Please help!! If you need specs I can list them if I need to post a log I will. If you have any ideas without me posting though please tell me. Thanks.

1. 60hz desktop refresh
2. 60 or 30 in obs
3. 60 in game if there is switch for it (like bf3, bf4, overwatch)
4. vsync in game on
5. run obs as admin

i had this issue with the 20.0.1 and 19.0.2 obs before i switched back to 18.0.2 which works perfect over those two

Ok I will try the downgrade, I think I had problems with previous versions when I updated to creators and the newer versions cause problems I guess. The admin didn't work for me and I have 144hz monitor. Vsync does nothing except cause me input lag.

Alright nothing is working for me. I tried 18.0.2 and it works better but still looks so bad. Please help me. I can upload a log if u want

Someone please help me, I'm about to uninstall this and find something that can record something half decent. But i know this is one of if not my best option if it works. Please
