Question / Help obs recording a few frames then stopping the video/screen recording but still recording audio??

i only recently downloaded obs. I was testing it a bit and the video (my screen( would record only like a few frames and then it would just stop recording my screen but would continue with the audio recording I was wondering if this issue has anything to do with my settings or if i could fix it in any way
