Question / Help OBS recognizes audio but doesnt record it.

So ive basically done everything i can possibly think of. Ive checked to see if my windows devices matches whats on OBS. I tested to make sure those devices work in other programs and they do. OBS in preview even picks up sound from both my desktop and microphone but for whatever reason when i watch a recording afterwards all that appears is the video that i recorded with no audio.

Ive checked to see if all the tracks were checked.
I tried a different media player away from Windows Media Player


I am in on windows 10 if that matters. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Ive tried searching it but it seems people only have the problem because their mic isnt even being recognized

UPDATE: Works when streaming. I can hear desktop and my audio but when doing local recordings it doesnt capture it.

Use a media player like VLC or MPC-HC to play back the file. If you're recording different devices to different tracks you'll need to switch to those tracks to hear them.
