obs keeps randomly crashing even if I'm not live or recording anything just doing other things with it open it happens very randomly I've had it happen a few minutes after going live and just most recently I was live for almost 2 hours then it suddenly crashed I have no idea why my pc is running smooth my stream is running great the whole time then suddenly out of nowhere it crashes and the even more odd thing is when it does it while I'm not even using it really just have it open

no I did download reaper audio filters and I'm using the equalizer that might be what is causing the crashes TBH I might try removing that and see how it goes

yeah I would have had no idea how to read the crash logs I looked at them myself and it could have been egyptian hieroglyphs for all I knew lmao guess I'll just have to sit here and wait to see if it crashes again I also had browser sources (overlays) with it set to allow me to control that in obs idk if that could cause any issues either but I disabled reaper EQ and so now the waiting game begins

Its one of your audio outputs using a noise suppression audio filters. Disable the filter to see if it doesn't crash anymore.
