OBS problems

I have Windows 11. I've had a new computer since March. Since the very beginning, OBS Studio has been working fine. When I record a screen capture, I see and hear a delay between the audio and the video. How do I fix this? I have the audio offset set to 0 ms in the audio device. Why is there a delay in the audio? How to solve problems? I have an audio device, because I have speakers. I have the 48 kHz setting correctly and the audio offset is 0 ms. I also have audio lag when recording my screen. I'm sending a download link so you can see what it looks like. And let me know what I can do to get the audio and video to work properly.

Audio typically processes faster than video, when coming in via different data paths
If you have speakers and a microphone, you can easily get an echo and have problems. Research audio loops, and what you have to do to avoid that (especially when using free, open-source s/w without patented echo cancellation tech native to install)

And you ignored pinned post in this forum about posting OBS Studio log when asking for help/support
And that log will NOT tell us the physical audio setup, which will impact any recommendations

Ok, sound is ahead of video - make a lot more sense.
I'm guessing you are using different settings vs our old computer, right? either that, or you are running more background processes on new computer, causing a hardware resource conflict. Or, maybe your new computer is a laptop (vs desktop) and you are running into thermal (performance) throttling?

As I posted earlier... you need to post your OBS Studio log from a session where you have the problem. See my .signature for link to process for uploading to this thread.
