OBS problem

At church we use a PC made in 2017 with a Nvidia GT-730 video card for streaming to Facebook.

Today I updated OBS and now I get the message that the current NVENC version will not work with my video card.

So I tried H.264 and it took up so much CPU power that the PC was barely usable.

A new video card is out of the question at the moment.

Is there a work around to enable NVENC to work or is it possible to roll back to the previous OBS version?

You'll need to roll back. I believe you need the last 27 version from https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/27.2.4
You can try the last 28 version from https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/28.1.2 and the last 29 version from https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio/releases/tag/29.1.3

30.0.2 is what I rolled back to and it works good.

It would have been nice of it was mentioned on the popup notifying of an available update that it would obsolete some video cards. I then wouldn't have updated.
