Hey guys,
I recently build new gaming/streaming/recording computer but since start my OBS (no matter which one I use) is having stuttering in preview even when its perfectly running 60fps and that goes to recording and streams (microstutter but noticable - looks not like 60fps but like 40).
I tried literally so many options, reinstalled PC several times and what worked best was clean OBS installation and game capture (dont know why but windows or display capture is totally not possible to use as game frames are perfect or locked 60fps but in OBS its lagging and dropping frames).
I tried locking FPS to 60, Vsync on off, turned all game mods off even in registry, disable defender, single monitor (Im using two 144hz screens), dual monitor, 60hz, 144hz, etc. disable preview, have obs on one monitor or another... lowering bitrate, lowering everything. Tried to record on SSD as well.
To me it feels like as OBS is not getting enough power, even tho cpu is running 30% and gpu 60% with Vsync on on Nvenc, When Vsync is on result is the same and gpu is running 98%.
When I tried X264 it was even worse with 70% cpu and 60% gpu usage.
It just feels like obs is not running maximum power from PC.. even tho pc is voltage is set to high performance, OBS running like admin
I literally upgraded from 1080ti and i7 7700k to this SPECS:
AMD RYZEN 7 3800X
ASUS ROG STRIX GAMING GeForce RTX2080S A8G
ASUS TUF X570-PLUS GAMING
HyperX 32GB KIT 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 Predator
SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS 1TB
SEAGATE BarraCuda 2TB
NZXT Kraken X62
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3
I would like to say that when I try for example Window capture or Display capture (which worked on my old pc no problem) game is running ok but OBS is dropping to like 20fps...
In Log I dont see any massive frame drop but footage is just not smooth as it was on previous computer on even lower settings..
Thank you for any help
Log from normal session attached - looks ok to me but footage looks like 40fps.
Im really desperated for any help or possible solution...
