Question / Help OBS preview and output drops frames when browser source/window capture Chrome active

If OBS doesn't report the drop, then OBS is just capturing what it's getting.

That said... you've got a discrete GPU and an integrated one, and OBS is running on the integrated one, even though you're not running any display sources.

You're capturing games with window capture instead of game capture. Does it not work on Geometry Dash?

well i switched to Game Capture and that fixed it somehow. I can't lie I did not know Game Capture vs. Window Capture made that big of a difference (especially when I used to just do a Display Capture and crop it)

Game capture is more performant than window capture.

You're also still running OBS on your Intel GPU which is less performant.
