Question / Help OBS Prevents Sleep While Replay Buffer is Active

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

Basically, if I try to put my computer to sleep while OBS replay buffer is on, my displays will turn off but the computer won't sleep. I have to turn off the replay buffer first, then the computer will sleep just fine.

Is there a way to put the computer to sleep without disabling the replay buffer first?

No, you need to disable any kind of output in OBS for Windows to not see it as something that's blocking sleeping.

I think, because of design flaw, user don't see that button is in "activated" state and process is running. Running replay buffer = use PC resources like during recording (except the disk space).
