Question / Help obs playing desktop audio through mic/aux and no mic sound suddenly

so i was streaming and my desktop audio was being played through my mic/aux audio and then all of a sudden my mic stopped working as well as all the sound in game and every where

Make sure that you have your Mic setup in Mic/Aux and not as an 'Audio Input Capture' in OBS Studio's Sources. Same with your Desktop sound. Go to Settings, Audio and set them up there. :-)
