OBS picks up Process ID / PID instead of just name for window capture

I have an app here (Big Countdown Timer), where OBS does not just pick up the Window title, but also an APP ID and Process ID. The process ID changes with every app start, so I can't have a reliable window source set up for it.

I have checked with the app developer and they say they don't do anything unusual on their end; what could cause OBS to pick up the app this way?
