hi Devs
I've used in the past OBS to produce streams for YouTube live server to consume via their classic interface and it worked as a charm, never had a problem.
More recently, with YouTube introducing Live Control interface for live streams, OBS output stream -> YouTube live server presenting serious problems such as:
- connection between OBS and YouTube live server is not reliable;
- OBS output streams consumed by YouTube live server has NO audio;
- have done extensive comparision with other streaming software such as XSplit Broadcaster to ascertain the unreliability of OBS;
- have collected Ethernet comms data via WireShark to study and find a resolution; sadly do not have access to OBS comms to YouTube live server to ascertain where the problem lies.
I pledge the Devs to look at the comms interface between OBS and YouTube live server in order to rectify the problems.
Thank you
Trajano Roberto
