Question / Help OBS output audio Device Doesn't work even after Downloading ishowu and making a multi-output device

I had the same problem as most people for Output recording. I followed another thread and downloaded ishowu and then Made a multiple- output device, which I named and then selected in my sound setting on my mac. The sound works fine through it, but I still only see "Disabled" when I go to select an output device. I've been working at this for more than 4 hours and I no idea what to do.

You select that device either in Settings > Audio under "Desktop Audio" or you can add it to individual scenes as an audio *input* source.
