Question / Help OBS Output as a separate input ?

I'm helping a colleague set up for a webinar in a couple of weeks - it is a web based log in and uses Flash.
I've set up an OBS profile with the iSIght cam, chroma key and external audio from a USB interface. No problems there - it all works.

However, what I'm trying to work out (and I don't yet have access to the webinar portal to test it fully) - can the combined OBS output then be choosable as an input ? Similar in the way to if you plugged in a USB microphone, you could then choose that as an audio source over the internal microphone.

We're not streaming from OBS, just using it as a source to record a backup and combine the greenscreen live.

No, I meant more that the OBS output (everything mixed together) gets seen as an entirely new input for other software (eg Skype) - I talked to someone on the community chat who said PC's can, Mac's can't - which is a shame because I don't own a PC, and haven't for years !

I wasn't aware that the Windows version did this either.

The NDI plugin can be used to do something like that, but you need the program on the other end receiving the stream to support NDI, and I wasn't aware that Skype did.

Look at CamTwist.

What was discussed was a virtual webcam output from obs. There's a plugin on windows for that, but not on mac.

At some point in the discussion it was asked if the webinar infrastructure had RTMP input. If it does, then OBS can output directly to that.
