Question / Help OBS output and preview is too sharp/grainy

Hello there, this is my first time using OBS paired with a capture card. I'm using ezcap266/ezcap u3 for testing it the results I got are not that good. In this studio preview screenshot you can see that the quality is kinda sharp and the colors are not that great:

This quality also reflects on the output file.
I would like to know what should I do to fix the color and the sharpness/grains? Thank you!

Go to your EZcap's properties (double click it, or right-click->properties)

Set your Resolution/FPS Type to Custom if it isn't already, and set your 1280x720 and 60fps.

Do you have any options for your Video Format other than YUY2? This looks to be your main culprit -- the color shifting you're seeing on text is definitely due to the chroma subsampling of the YUY2 compression. If you have the option for something like RGB, or any 444 compression schemes, that would be a lot better.

As far as the sharpening goes, I'm not sure whether that's entirely being caused by the colorspace compression, or if there's something else going on in addition.

Hey there! Thanks for noticing my post and providing instant instructions. I've tried what you said but it's still the same. Currently it has YUY2 and MJPEG available.
