Question / Help OBS, OSX & Riiai HD Live Streamer

Hi guys, so I picked up one of these live streamer boxes from Amazon (Riiai HD Live Streamer) and I'm trying to get it working with OBS on my MacBook Air Mid 2011 / El Capitan. The capture card itself appears to be recognised by my Mac as it appears happily in system preferences and is shown under USB hub, so I know the Mac knows about it. However, when I try to add a source within OBS it doesn't appear to show.

Any ideas would be appreciated

One of the questions was "Does it work with Mac" and the seller responded with "Sorry, it can't .just for Windows"

Even though it's showing up in System Information (not preferences), the Mac may simply think it's just a USB Hub and not a video input source.
