Please help! i have spent a few hours on trying to figure out why obs isn't opening. I uninstalled it and reinstall it, nothing. i updated my driver, nothing. I even restarted my computer for a few times and still the problem isn't solved.
it opens for about 2 seconds and then it exits obs...and it only works on safe mode.

It was working fine for months then suddenly it's not...
Here is my crash log.

dbgcore.dll windows system dll for debugging (dbg) last thing on the log. Potentially been used by some thing malicious. I don't know but do an SFC scannow.

System File Checker and DISM are built-in tools from Windows that can help solve DLL errors in the Windows operating system. To run these tools, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type “sfc /scannow” and “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth” respectively.

Hello. thank you for the reply but i tried putting that in the command prompt (1st screenshot down below) and still obs wouldn't work.
i shared a screenshot on how obs looks like just before it automatically closes after 2 seconds on the 2nd screenshot

I restarted my computer to see if it would work but nothing...

libcef.dll is the issue, it is responsible for Chromium Based Operations, hence why you don't crash in Safe Mode.

Are you able to provide a log file instead of the crash log?

Always use the analyzer. Please review and follow directions and recommendations on the analyzer:

You need to remove streamelements plugin. It breaks OBS.
There's literally hundreds of threads explaining this. Use the uninstaller they provide. Now go to %appdata%\obs-studio\ and manually remove the leftover files they keep in there for no reason because this files keeps interaction with OBS causing issues. Now please uninstall OBS and reinstall it.

Make sure the other plugins are updated and are compatible with the OBS version you're using.
Remove any that isn't.

When I go to \obs-studio\ what exactly should I delete?
Just asking out of fear of accidentally deleting the wrong things

Reinstalling OBS will put everything back that it needs anyway. Just nuke that entire folder and start over.

Yep. A few good ideas, terribly written. Like a lot of malware is terribly written, and *that's* how you notice it.
