I use Windows 10 and for some reason, OBS isn't recording my monitor.

If you're on a laptop with a discrete GPU, it may run external monitors from the discrete GPU instead of the iGPU. OBS can only capture processes running on the same GPU as it.

Also please note that Display Capture is the worst-performing capture method, and should be avoided at all costs, if possible.
