Bug Report OBS only recording at low bitrate

I've been recording my shows at 1080p 30fps using FLV (X264) with CRF 18. File size is around 3.5gb/hour.

Earlier this week I tried switching to using MKV so that I could record multiple audio channels. I noticed that the recorded file size dropped down to around 1gb/hour.

I tried switching back to FLV and I'm still getting 1gb/hour despite my settings being seemingly the same as they were originally, meaning OBS is recording now at a much lower bitrate than it was previously.

I've attached my current recording settings as well as the most recent log file.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks Harold, I used that link what I first tried setting up multitrack audio recording.

The issue here is that even with single track audio recording, FLV recording, which used to record at a rate of 3gb/hour, is now recording at 1gb/hour. So I either made a mistake somewhere or there is a bug in OBS.

I've been using the same FLV setting for many shows, so this is a recent issue.

Is the quality changing when the bitrate does?
Are you sure you're using the EXACT SAME encoder settings?
