I’ve been struggling for a month or two with this. It only records a few seconds of the game. Here’s my log file:
Pls help me out :(

Would the resolution of 1280x720 be suitable? And the fps should it be 30 or another number?Your computer is too weak to record with this high resolution and fps. Try Quicksync (QSV) as encoder instead of x264 and reduce resolution as well as fps. Half the resolution is a quarter system load and half the fps is half the system load.

Thank you, I’ll check it out rn. You’ve been very helpful. I’ll come back to you if need more helpI don't know. It may very well be you need to reduce the settings even more. Do test recordings, then look into the logfile yourself and watch out for these entries:
Code:15:15:42.493: Output 'simple_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 6481 (94.8%) 15:15:43.070: ==== Recording Stop ================================================ 15:15:58.761: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 652/692 (94.2%) 15:18:30.829: ==== Shutting down ==================================================
In a perfect video, there are no (zero) number of lagged frames due to rendering lag and no (zero) number of skipped frames due to encoding lag. For good videos, the percent values should be 0 or below 1%. Above 1%, there is visible frame skipping.
You also see these values during recording, activate View > Stats.
Your values of 94% indicate you just get a slide show - only once every few seconds one frame is being produced properly.
It’s recording longer now. The quality isn’t good ofc and the video freezes but there is still sound playingI don't know. It may very well be you need to reduce the settings even more. Do test recordings, then look into the logfile yourself and watch out for these entries:
