Hello, (I'm learning how to use OBS and Linux so bear with me).
I installed openSUSE two days ago (Tumbleweed 20240716).
I installed the latest OBS via Discover.
I tried using vdo.ninja; the video appeared in OBS but "Start Virtual camera" button was missing.
I gave up on vdo.ninja and tried using DroidCam for Linux but couldn't get it to work.
After researching online, I found out I needed to install the v4l2loopback module.
I managed to install v4l2loopback, and then the "Start Virtual camera" button appeared.
DroidCam started working after that.
Now I thought I could use OBS with vdo.ninja since the button appeared, but this time OBS doesn't show the video from the generated URL. I removed the DroidCam plugin from OBS for Linux, but it didn't help.
Does anyone have any tips on what I can do? Is it worth using vdo.ninja after all, or will the video quality also be reduced like with DroidCam?
