OBS not working

OBS is not working properly. I installed OBS and it makes my laptop's battery low and keeps saying " your battery is low" but as soon as i close OBS, the problem disappears automatically. Why is that ? Can anybody help me?

I've never heard of application that would cause a battery level warning (controlled by BIOS and/or Operating System) which then goes away when computer unplugged ??
unless you are failing to provide key details, like you are using a low Watt charger, and when OBS running you are drawing more power than your charger provides?? In which case, PEBKAC not with OBS Studio
