OBS not working in Big Sur

I have been using OBS under Catalina for about a year. I upgraded to Big Sur in December and since that date, OBS won’t launch.
I have deleted .json file, no success.

I have deleted OBS and reinstalled on a number of occasions, OBS still won’t launch.

Are there other files that need to be delated to allow a clean reinstall?? Help please.

My only option seems to be to re-instal Catalina and hope that I can re-install my applications, particularly the non-apple applications.

MacBook Pro 2017 - Big Sur
3.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB
S/w Version; 11.2.3 (20D91)

Do you still remember which version and which settings of the plugin you were using so I can try to fix it?

Update:
After some more investigation I could identify that the issue was somehow related to the newly added network tab functionality.
This led to crashes in other plugins, which were using the asio library (e.g. the "logi_obs_plugin" in your case).
I have updated the advanced scene switcher plugin to no longer include this functionality on macOS.
(The Windows and Linux versions of the plugin are unaffected)

Warmuptill, what is the logi_obs_plugin? I have a folder on my mac, in the Library/Application Support/obs-studio/plugins but it's empty, nothing in it.

I do not know what this plugin is for.
I could just be found in the crash log above.

There was a conflict with the advanced scene switcher and this plugin due to them relying on different versions of the asio library, which led to a crash of OBS.
The version of the library used by the advanced scene switch has since been changed and a version without this library dependency is also available.

Are you facing crashes caused by either of these plugins or what is the reason for your question?

If not it might make sense to either start a new thread or send me a message directly.
