OBS says my NVENC video driver needs to be updated. OBS will not work.
The computer is 6 months old, I checked everyplace I could. The computer says it is up to date.

This happened after the penultimate update. Stumped
I was hoping the last update would fix this, but it's still not letting me record. I don't use video, I only use this for redundant audio backup as court reporter.

I did fix it by changing the streaming and recording input to software instead of 'hardware'. that works for me. I'm using audio only. Thank you for your response.

You need to download the driver from nvidia.com, don't trust Windows itself to find drivers.
