Obs not supporting 1080p from my cannon M50 mark 2 camera.

I have a bought a brand new Canon M50 mark 2 camera. When I am plugging it into my obs as a web cam, it is auto selecting the resolution as 720p. There is no option coming for selecting 1080 p. I have put 1080 p on both my base canvas and output resolution. Still this problem. Is occuring. Can any one help me with this?

The camera has a USB2 interface right? assuming yes, you aren't going to get 1080p over USB without significant video compression which these cameras weren't designed to do over USB. hence the EOS webcam FAQ directly addressing the resolution limits

For 1080p out of your camera into OBS if your cameras has HDMI out you may want to look at a HDMI capture card instead – assuming the Canon M50 Mark II can provide a clean HDMI out.
