OBS not showing recorded streams?

I have some recorded streams in the correct folder, but OBS does not show them when I browse to the folder. If I use File Manager they are there (They are .MP4 and .MKV files). Can anyone help me get OBS to find them?

i.e. there are no recordings shown in the Setup->Recording->recording-path location.

and if you go file - show recordings instead of going into settings?

I have installed OBS on my laptop and done a dummy stream out, and the recordings are there (MKV btw), but on the studio system they do not show (as per post) so I will do a setting by setting compare. However the fact that File Manager shows files and OBS does not is odd (yes, had suffixes shown, and 'details' view, not thumbnails/icons).

Apologies. No. That is the problem.

File - show recordings will open the folder you have specified in settings - output under recording through windows explorer.
Provide a screenshot of the ENTIRE window that opens when you choose to show the recordings.

Also, beware running OBS as Admin, but looking at folder with other user credentials that may not have been granted (NTFS) permission to see the files recorded
