Question / Help OBS not showing desktop

I'm sure there is a thread talking about this already, but not only my OBS is not showing the desktop it is also coming up with weird options like windowInternal and explorer.exe(null) over and over again. this may be vague but i'm open to questions to resolve the issue.

The issue here is that you're on a laptop. Display capture is what you need to use to capture your desktop, but this won't work on a laptop that is running on the dedicated GPU. You'll need to set OBS to run on the integrated graphics first, by following this guide here:

Okay I tried doing that but the same problem comes up even when I made the edits with my NVIDIA settings. It can only record one window at a time with window capture. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
