OBS NOT SAVING MP3'S OR TRANSITIONING

I am going to start my first stream here in almost a week and i have been doing some test runs. I had recently noticed that OBS is not saving any of my transitions nor my MP3 files. I have to manually remove and then add transitions and MP3. I have no idea what the problem is and it is very frustrating because I had everything exactly a certain way. When i manually add the MP3 and transitions they still do not work and nothing appears. Would anyone know what the issue could possibly be? i am def a noob lol. much appreciated
