I'm trying to record a fullscreen game i chose Window Capture and select Half-Life 2 i check Swap Red and Blue and it seems to work as well, but when i press the record button and maximize the game it freezes in the final video file, just record audio. if i record the game minimized it recorded as well the problem is when i open the game. I can record the game without problem if i set to run the game on windowed mode but i don't like record on this way my performance decreases 20 fps and i seem some tearing and a little input lag and the quality isn't good at all.

My second idea was. Select Screen Capture option to record all on the desktop happens but at the time to open the game on fullscreen on the final video it record as well the desktop but at the time to open the game it turns to a gray screen and minimize the game it continues recording the desktop.

I see other user having the same problem and i read that with the Open Source Driver don't happen. I use the Proprietary AMD Driver 15.12 and my system is:

Linux:
Ubuntu 14.04
Kernel:
3.13
CPU:
FX 6300
GPU:
R7 370
RAM:
8 GB

So anyone can help with this problem maybe is the AMD driver i don't really want to use the radeon open source driver.
I repeat. recording on window mode it record as well but i don't wanna record in this mode. When record the game on fullscreen in the final video file it only shows a freeze screen

Since the Linux version of OBS Studio lacks a game capture source, your best option is probably to run HL2 in borderless windowed mode. Launch with -window -noborder and see if that works (I don't know if the Windows launch params carry over).
