So I've been having problems with recording because sometimes when I record, The audio from capture card doesn't play and it's REALLY annoying cause sometimes it works. Can you give me way that I can fix that problem?

Hello StylishMario: I don't have a solution for you, but I can tell you you that others are reporting similar symptoms - audio device intermittently and unpredictably unavailable and showing as inactive. Have you looked at your OBS Log file, and is there an error message where OBS is trying to initialize the device?

In my case I believe it might be associated with a Windows update (KB5034204).

Also, if you are not already doing it, running OBS as Administrator might help.

Good luck...

Hello StylishMario: I don't know what you are asking, but I was suggesting to see if there are any error messages in the OBS Log file that would account for the problems you are experiencing. For example, when I was having the same issues, my OBS Log File included the following message.

Device 'INPUT 1/2 (2- Volt 2)' invalidated. Retrying (source: Volt 2)

I don't know what 'invalidated' means in this context, or what to do about it, but it is obviously not a good news message.

You could also upload your Log File to the OBS Log Analyzer ( ) and see if it highlights anything relevant.

Cheers
