Hello,
I just got a new microphone (Audio Technica 2020) and tried to use it to record audio, but it did not work. After 2 hours or so of messing with settings all throughout OBS and my computer and sound card, nothing fixed it. I tried it with another computer, also through OBS and it did not work there either, so I sent it back thinking it was broken. Now, I have a 2nd mic and gone through all of the same steps, but it is also not recognized and does not record audio. OBS recognizes the built in mic in my laptop, it recognizes my webcam mic, both of which are complete sh**...why will it not recognize my ACTUAL MICROPHONE!?
For now I have been recording with default mic fine, but the sound is awful.
