OBS not recognizing Blackmagic Television Studio HD

Hello, we recently had to replace our live stream computer. OBS is not recognizing our Blackmagic Television Studio HD. Our setup is: SDI from Blackmagic Television Studio to Blackmagic Ultra Studio Mini Recorder to Thunderbolt cable into USB C converter into OBS computer. We are running Monterrey iOS now.

Did you install a sufficiently recent version of blackmagic desktop video (11.6 or newer)?
The ultrastudio mini recorder is the device that will show up in obs by name.

We are using desktop version 12.3.1 is installed. However, when running it, no devices show up.

if the desktop video software itself doesn't list the devices, then the problem is not with obs.
