Question / Help OBS Not Recognizing AverMedia DVD EZMaker 7

I got the AverMedia DVD EZMaker 7 in order to stream Super Smash Bros Melee through OBS. My Mac recognizes the device fine (I can record gameplay via AverStudio), however when I try to stream on OBS it doesn't recognize the device. Any help?

Does the AverMedia show up as an available camera device in other applications, like FaceTime or Skype?

I know it´s an old thread, but I'm having the same problem. It only show image on the software that comes with the device.
