OBS Not Opening/Taking Forever

Brand new 2019 iMac I got yesterday. OBS worked fine after installation yesterday.

Today when I try to open it it just bounces in the dock for a very long time (though the FaceTime camera light does come on right away). Sometimes it will eventually open after 2-5 minutes or so of bouncing. Once it does open it works fine.

I tried the manual code through Terminal and it just repeats "Error Code 3" over and over again. Any help would be appreciated!

I can repro the launch issue on a Mac Pro running macOS 10.14.6. Sometimes it happens, other times it immediately launches.

Same thing here. Sometimes starts right up. Sometimes it takes several minutes.
I'm on a Mac Pro 2010. On Mojave.

...I just had the same here - OBS jumping, but not opening...

...after consulting the console i found that unplugging all external devices from the (in my case USB-C-) ports during the OBS-launch-phase helped instantly: OBS started without problems...
