I am wondering why I cannot get OBS to hear the sound that my Soundcard is sending on Windows 10.
There is a strange workaround I've discovered whereby I tell the laptop to listen to the Soundcard as an "Input" and tell OBS to listen to the "DESKTOP" - the sound appears. However, in doing that, my listeners can hear system Notifications, or if someone messages me on Messenger etc (Ping!).
Is there something I can do to do this the 'right way' whereby OBS exclusively listens to the soundcard direclty?
Hardware:
-Scarlett 2i2 (1st Gen) connected via USB
-Windows 10 Laptop
Software
-Newest firmware for Focusrite
-Windows updates installed
-Newest OBS installed.
