Question / Help OBS not detecting Elgato HD60

I recently refreshed my PC back to Windows 7 Pro SP1 and after the long install OBS no longer detects my Elgato HD60. The device itself works fine as I am able to stream on it with the Game Capture HD software and do my local recordings for editing but it only sees my webcam for the Video Capture Device. Doing local recordings this is not an issue but if I want to ever stream then this is a problem as the game capture HD software is not very good.

I already uninstalled the Elgato software and reinstalled it hoping that would wrong but no go.

So I've been having this issue as well, and have found various solutions via google.
1) Make sure you're using 32bit OBS.
2) Make sure Game Capture HD is not running.
3) Uninstall Game Capture HD, install an older version. I found 2.20.6 works. It also happens to be the last version without 64-bit support, so that might be why.
