OBS not capturing the Pioneer DDJ 1000 (rekordbox) as an audio input

Hello

Is the Pioneer DDj 1000 (rekordbox version) compatible with my Mac 5k retina (2019), i also use Mojave as the operating system.
In OBS when i try to add the DDJ 1000 as an audio input device it clearly see it there as an option but when i select it it does not pick up any audio whatsover.
I have the most recent pioneer driver and ive updated the firmware plus use the most recent version of the OBS software.

I cant send you a log file on this occasion as the last few times i used OBS i was doing something different and not related to this issue.

First try to select the Controller at your Mac Sound Settings — input — as your Input device.
then obs -> new source -> Audio Input capture -> and select „default“ as your device.
