OBS asked me about some new HD elgato setting to install and i thought okay cool , didn't know what it was exactly but now all of a sudden its not capturing my game play . I even tried to re add the game play / Video capture device and nothing!

i have uploaded log files , hope this helps . I haven't been able to stream yet this weekend and help my community in destiny trials because of this! thank you so much in advance for anyone who can help fix this .

Does it work in the Elgato software?

What are you capturing?

The Elgato source is currently configured for 640x480 content which seems low for Destiny. Make sure the source is configured to match what it's capturing.

Make sure it works in the Elgato software first. Once you've confirmed that, go look at your PS4 configuration and determine what resolution the console outputs. Set your Elgato source in OBS to match.

You need to configure your Elgato source, not general OBS video settings. Open the Elgato source properties and set the correct resolution there.

Double-click the Elgato source in OBS, or right-click it and select Properties.
now its a big screen that says "one moment please" with a big play button icon . Would team viewer work easier for you ? i just know its probably frustrating to help someone this noob LOl

Try deleting the source entirely and re-adding it. Make sure the Elgato software isn't running, only one program can use the device at a time. TeamViewer isn't an option since I'm at work, though someone should be able to assist in support chat if you'd like. https://obsproject.com/chat
