Been having this issue for a while.
Drivers are updated (and reinstaled just in case), OBS reinstalled. Desktop audio just stopped working. If you pay attention, when my desktop is making sound, the first couple pixels of the sound meter turn on, and turn off after the sound stopped playing.
Exclusivity is disabled. This is the standard realtek audio device.
