Hi,
i am having weird problem with OBS recently. I am recording while streaming and after i stop the stream, the recording cannot be stopped. I have read that this can sometimes happen and all you have to do is avoid using mp4 and use MKV for example and even though OBS crash or something, you wont loose the recording. Problem for me is, that it doesnt happen "sometimes" but always! And even with the MKV method, i still loose the file.
Or to be precise, the file is there but always only few seconds or minutes long even though it should be several hours.
I am recording/streaming with my PC via elgato HD capture card from PS4 and i am using HDMI switch on my monitor to switch from seeing windows to see my PS4. Could this somehow be the problem?
Because from the logs, it seems, that there is some kind of a problem that is happening roughly around the time I switch the screen. (but on the other hand it happened also when i switched the screen with HDMI switcher before i started streaming/recording.
